Xiaomi’s electric vehicle division has announced impressive results for its debut model, the SU7, surpassing its revised delivery target for 2024. Originally aiming for 100,000 units, Xiaomi later increased its goal to 120,000, only to exceed it by delivering over 130,000 SU7s by year-end. Launched in December 2023 and starting deliveries in April 2024, the SU7 comes in three versions: Standard, Pro, and Max, with prices ranging from RMB 215,900 (€26,600) to RMB 299,900 (€36,900). Competing with Tesla’s Model 3, the SU7 has positioned Xiaomi as a formidable new player in the EV market. With a new high-performance SU7 Ultra and YU7 SUV slated for release in 2025, Xiaomi aims to solidify its future in the global automotive industry.
