Xiaomi just wrapped up a major launch event in China, revealing several new gadgets and two of them are particularly eye-catching. Meet the new Xiaomi AI Glasses and OpenWear Stereo Pro open-ear earbuds, both packing clever features at aggressive price points.
The Xiaomi AI Glasses look to take on the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses but with superior specs. They offer 2K (1440p) video recording at 30fps via a 12MP Sony IMX681 sensor, with five microphones for voice commands, bone-conduction audio, and noise reduction. There’s no screen it’s all voice-driven with a touch control panel on the right temple. Weighing just 40 grams, you can even swap in prescription or electrochromic lenses.

Battery life is a standout, with Xiaomi claiming 8 hours and 36 minutes of use roughly double the Ray-Ban Meta’s endurance. Powered by a Snapdragon AR1 chip and Xiaomi’s Vela OS, they charge via USB-C without needing a case. Priced at CNY 1,999 (~$278), they’ll be available in Black, Brown, and Green in China, with no word yet on global release.
Xiaomi also introduced the OpenWear Stereo Pro, a set of open-ear wireless earbuds featuring a comfortable, all-day liquid silicone finish. They sport an aviation-grade titanium ear hook for stability and are IP54-rated for splash resistance.

What’s inside the earphones is just as impressive an industry-first five-driver system with an 18×13mm loudspeaker, tuned by the Harman Golden Ear Team. Alongside premium audio, you get built-in audio recording, AI-powered translation, and transcription tools.

Battery life clocks in at 8.5 hours per charge, with the case extending that to a huge 45 hours. Available in Gold, Black, and Silver, the Stereo Pro earbuds are priced at CNY 999 (~$140).
