Xiaomi has officially entered the AI race with Hyper AI, its native AI suite unveiled at MWC 2025. Designed to rival Galaxy AI and Apple Intelligence, Hyper AI brings a range of generative AI tools exclusively to Xiaomi devices.

The suite includes AI-powered text summarization, proofreading, and translation, alongside advanced photo editing tools like a Magic Eraser-style object remover and an AI image extender. A standout feature is Xiaomi’s AI video generator, catering to the growing demand for AI-generated video content. Additionally, Xiaomi has partnered with Google to integrate Gemini AI into Xiaomi Notes, Calendar, and Clock apps.

Hyper AI will roll out in April to the Xiaomi 14 series, MIX Flip, Pad 6S Pro, and Redmi Note 14 Pro, with HyperOS 2.0 updates coming to more devices in May. As AI becomes a major battleground for smartphone makers, Xiaomi’s Hyper AI aims to bring smarter, more creative tools to users.
