Shared by reliable Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station, the phone is set to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, making it one of the first devices to sport the upcoming processor.
Camera enthusiasts will be pleased with a triple 50 MP rear camera setup, consisting of a 1/1.3″ main sensor, an ultrawide lens, and a telemacro shooter. Interestingly, earlier rumors hinted at a periscope telephoto, but the latest leak doesn’t confirm this detail. The Xiaomi 16 is also tipped to pack a sizable 6,500+ mAh battery alongside a 6.3-inch flat OLED display with ultra-thin bezels.
