Despite the recent international launch of the Xiaomi 15, rumors about its successor, the Xiaomi 16, are already surfacing. Expected to debut in China this October, the Xiaomi 16 is said to feature a larger display than its predecessor’s 6.36-inch panel. While the exact size remains unknown, it will likely fall between 6.36 and 6.73 inches, avoiding overlap with the Xiaomi 15 Pro.
In addition to the bigger screen, the Xiaomi 16 is also rumored to include an ultra-thin stacked periscope telephoto camera. This addition aligns with Xiaomi’s goal of making the device as slim as possible, following the industry trend of ultra-thin smartphones. The periscope lens, previously reserved for the Pro and Ultra models, will now be available in the standard version, marking a significant upgrade.
