Toyota has unveiled the all-electric Urban Cruiser SUV, set to make its public debut at the 2025 Brussels Motor Show. This compact SUV is a rebadged version of the recently revealed Suzuki e-Vitara and will go on sale in Europe from 2025, with potential plans for India.
Design-wise, Toyota has given the Urban Cruiser a distinct identity with its new front fascia, inspired by Toyota’s latest design language, including sleek headlamps and a panel separating the bonnet from the grille. While the SUV shares similar body features with the Suzuki E-Vitara, such as squared wheel arches and prominent haunches, the Toyota variant has unique tail lamp internals and an all-black cabin.
The Urban Cruiser will offer both front-wheel and all-wheel-drive options, with two battery sizes. The entry-level model comes with a 49 kWh battery and 142 bhp, while the 61 kWh version delivers up to 181 bhp and 300 Nm with AWD.
