Sony has started rolling out Android 15 to its Xperia 1 V, marking the latest software upgrade for the 2023 flagship model. The update introduces several new features, including Private Space, fresh wallpapers, and updated home screen/lock screen styles. The Side Sense feature gets new enhancements, along with a redesigned quick settings panel and notification shade. New pop-up windows and Bluetooth broadcasting via Bluetooth LE Audio are also included.
This update represents the final major software release for the Xperia 1 V, which originally launched with Android 13. Going forward, the device will only receive security patches, with no further major OS upgrades expected.
