Sony and Honda have unveiled their first collaborative EV, the Afeela 1, at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. This cutting-edge electric car is available in two variants: Afeela 1 Origin (₹77 lakh approx.) and Afeela 1 Signature (₹94 lakh approx.). Pre-reservations are now open in California, with global rollouts planned for 2026 and deliveries starting mid-2026.
The Afeela 1 features advanced all-wheel drive, a dual-motor system delivering 482 bhp, and a 91 kWh battery offering a range of 483 km. Equipped with Sony’s AI-powered Afeela Personal Assistant, Level 2+ autonomous driving, and premium in-car entertainment, the EV promises a futuristic and luxurious experience. Safety is ensured with 40 sensors and cameras, while fast charging supports up to 150 kW, compatible with Tesla’s Supercharger network.
