The game, originally released in 2017, immerses players in World War II Italy as sniper Karl Fairburne, battling Nazi forces with period-accurate weaponry. Known for its “X-ray Kill Camera,” which shows enemies’ internal injuries upon impact, the game also features expansive maps and stealth gameplay.
To play on Mac, users need an M1 chip or later with macOS Ventura or newer. iPad and iPhone users require iPadOS 17 or iOS 17 with an A17 Pro chip or newer. Sniper Elite 4 is priced at $24.99, with the first mission available for free. The game supports external controls for those who prefer not to use the touchscreen.
