Samsung has teased its upcoming tri-fold smartphone at last month’s Unpacked event, and we may now know its name: the Galaxy G Fold. According to reports from Korea, the device will feature a tri-fold design similar to Huawei’s Mate X series, with a brand-new 10-inch screen. The device is expected to weigh around 300 grams, similar to Huawei’s tri-fold model, but it won’t be as slim, coming in at 3.6mm when fully unfolded.

The new foldable will have a 9.96″ diagonal screen, with a cover display measuring 6.54″ when folded, larger than the current Galaxy Z Fold 6. While the “G” in the name could stand for Galaxy, Samsung’s choice of the letter remains unclear.
Expect more teasers from Samsung between July and September, with a potential launch slated for January 2026.
