Samsung Teases Galaxy Z Fold7 Ultra, Early Benchmarks for Fold7 Leak

Samsung has officially teased its long-anticipated Galaxy Z Fold7 Ultra, confirming its arrival later this year. The new Ultra model will launch alongside the standard Z Fold7, Z Flip7, and Z Flip7 FE at an in-person event in New York this July. The teaser hints at a notably slimmer profile than previous models, with Samsung promising a “best-in-class camera” to rival foldable heavyweights like the vivo X Fold3 Pro.

The Ultra model had been expected with last year’s Z Fold6 generation but was scrapped in favor of a Z Fold Special Edition in South Korea and China. That model boasted an 8-inch main display, a 6.5-inch cover screen, a 200MP main camera, and a super-slim 4.9mm profile when unfolded setting the stage for the Fold7 Ultra’s hardware ambitions.

Meanwhile, new Geekbench listings reveal the global Z Fold7 (SM-F966B) will run a Snapdragon 8 Gen Elite for Galaxy chipset with 12GB RAM and Android 16-based One UI 8. Performance benchmarks point to impressive multi-core scores nearing 9,226.
