Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 to Feature 200MP Main Camera

Samsung is preparing to make major improvements to its Galaxy Z Fold 7, with a new leak revealing that the foldable will feature a 200MP main camera the first outside South Korea to include such an upgrade. This marks a significant jump from the 50MP sensor found in the current model. The leak also claims an improved under display camera, though details remain scarce. However, the rest of the camera setup, including the 12MP ultrawide, 10MP telephoto, and 10MP front camera, will reportedly stay the same.

The Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to launch in July alongside the Galaxy Z Flip 7, following Samsung’s usual foldable release schedule. While revolutionary hardware changes aren’t expected, Samsung is rumored to introduce new foldable options like the Galaxy Z Flip FE and a possible tri-fold device, the Galaxy G.

With its new camera improvements, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 could finally address one of the biggest complaints about Samsung’s premium foldable lineup delivering a flagship tier photography experience to match its high price.
