Samsung is resurrecting its Classic smartwatch lineup for 2025, and the first proper look has arrived. New CAD-based renders of the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic surfaced, showing a revamped design inspired by the squircle (square-circle) shape of last year’s Watch Ultra. Alongside the return of the fan-favorite rotating bezel, this model may debut a third Quick Button a feature borrowed from the Ultra lineup.

Expected to launch in early July with Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7, the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic reportedly comes in a 46/47mm size. It’s said to house a 450mAh battery and feature a 1.5-inch round display. The hardware dimensions clock in at 46 x 46.5 x 14.2mm, making it slightly chunkier than its predecessor.

Rumors hint that it will ship with One UI 8 Watch, potentially based on Wear OS 6. Whether Samsung unveils this alongside its foldable phones remains to be seen, but an official reveal seems imminent.
