Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy S25 and S25+ at its 2025 Galaxy Unpacked event. Both models feature the custom Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, offering 37% higher CPU performance and 30% improved GPU capabilities. For the first time, all S25 models come with 12GB of RAM, eliminating the 8GB option.

The devices sport LTPO OLED displays with 1-120Hz refresh rates. The S25 has a 6.2-inch 1080p+ screen, while the S25+ boasts a 6.7-inch 1440p+ display. Despite being thinner and lighter, the battery capacities remain unchanged: 4,000mAh for the S25 and 4,900mAh for the S25+.
Camera upgrades focus on software, with 10-bit HDR video recording, Galaxy Log, and improved nighttime noise reduction. Both phones feature Expert RAW’s Virtual Aperture for enhanced depth control.
Running on One UI 7, the S25 series offers 7 years of software support, AI-powered features, and advanced security with post-quantum cryptography. Prices start at $799.99 for the S25 and $999.99 for the S25+.
