Samsung’s next entry-level true wireless earbuds, the Galaxy Buds Core, have had new battery specs leak online. Set to replace the Galaxy Buds FE from 2023, the Buds Core recently appeared on Samsung support pages, revealing their model number as SM-R410.

Now, a fresh industry leak claims that each Buds Core earbud will house a 100 mAh battery, while the charging case will offer a 500 mAh capacity. That’s a significant jump from the 60 mAh per bud and 479 mAh case found in last year’s Buds FE. If true, this could mean noticeably longer playback and standby times for budget Samsung audio users.

What’s still unclear is whether the Buds Core will adopt the new stem-style design introduced by the Galaxy Buds3 and Buds3 Pro. The substantial battery bump hints that a new form factor might be on the horizon, but nothing is confirmed yet. Also, leaked renders floating around are unofficial placeholders for now.
