Porsche’s electrification journey continues as Porsche’s electric Cayenne Coupe has been spotted undergoing testing in the United States. Set to debut in late 2025, this marks Porsche’s third all-electric vehicle after the Taycan and Macan EVs. Despite launching new hybrid and gasoline-powered Cayennes, Porsche confirms a fully electric next-gen Cayenne is coming, with bold ambitions to lead the electric SUV space.

Spy shots reveal a coupe-style variant with a sleek, sloping roofline, signaling a sportier design aimed at EV enthusiasts. Built on the PPE platform—shared with the Macan EV and Audi Q6 e-Tron—the Cayenne EV promises “comprehensive” enhancements, including better performance and range.

Rumors suggest it will offer multiple trims, starting with the Macan 4S powertrain delivering 500+ horsepower, and potentially scaling to Taycan-level output with up to 1,000 HP. The Cayenne EV will likely rival models like the Audi Q8 e-tron and even newcomers like Xiaomi’s YU7 in global markets.
