Perplexity, the AI-powered search engine rivaling Google, has just launched Perplexity Labs a new tool exclusive to its $20/month Pro plan. Available on the web, iOS, and Android (with Mac and Windows apps coming soon), Labs can generate reports, spreadsheets, dashboards, and even interactive web apps. It’s part of Perplexity’s broader strategy to move beyond AI search into productivity and enterprise tools.
Perplexity Labs takes about 10 minutes to tackle projects, using web searches, code execution, and chart/image generation to build deliverables. The tool also structures data, applies formulas, and writes code to support its creations. All generated content is organized in a dedicated tab for easy viewing or download, making it a workspace for diverse, AI-assisted projects.
