Oppo’s upcoming Find N5 foldable smartphone sets new benchmarks in thinness and design. Product manager Zhou Yibao teased images comparing the Find N5’s thickness to everyday items like coins, credit cards, and sticky notes. When unfolded, the Find N5’s side profile measures around 4mm, making it nearly half as thick as the iPhone 16 Pro Max (8.25mm). Even when folded, it matches the thickness of most candybar-style flagships at approximately 8mm.
In another teaser, the foldable is shown alongside a pile of four credit cards, highlighting its ultra-thin profile. It is set to dethrone the Honor Magic V3 as the thinnest foldable, which measures 4.35mm when open.
The Find N5 also boasts an IPX9 water resistance rating, offering protection against high pressure water jets. Expected to launch as the OnePlus Open 2 globally, it aims to compete with devices like the Galaxy Fold 6 and Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
