OnePlus is expanding its Ace 5 series lineup with two new gaming-centric smartphones the Ace 5 Racing Edition and Ace 5 Ultra (also called Extreme Edition). Both handsets are set to debut in China sometime next week, between May 19 and May 25, with pre-reservations already live.
The Ace 5 Racing Edition will be one of the first devices powered by the freshly unveiled MediaTek Dimensity 9400e chipset. Targeting budget-conscious gamers, it’s expected to be priced under CNY 2,500 (approx. ₹29,700). It’ll feature a 6.77-inch LTPS OLED 120Hz display, a 50MP dual-camera setup, a 16MP selfie shooter, and a massive 7,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
Meanwhile, the flagship Ace 5 Ultra will debut with the top-tier Dimensity 9400+ SoC, boasting a 6.83-inch 1.5K LTPS OLED display, up to 16GB RAM, 1TB UFS 4.0 storage, and 100W charging. Both phones will ship with Android 15-based ColorOS 15, promising peak frame rates for mobile gaming enthusiasts.
