We’ve just got our clearest look yet at the Nothing Phone (3), and it’s turning heads for better or worse. Official renders leaked via Android Headlines have surfaced ahead of the phone’s July 1 unveiling, showcasing the device in two color options: black and what appears to be a greyish-white.

On the front, it’s business as usual with a punch-hole selfie camera centered at the top. But the real conversation is happening at the back. The renders reveal a triple-camera setup and it’s controversial. The top sensor, a confirmed 50MP periscope telephoto, sits oddly close to the phone’s edge, creating a noticeably uneven alignment with the other two cameras, reportedly 50MP wide and ultrawide sensors.

Design quirks aside, the Phone (3) maintains its signature Glyph Matrix on the rear, while introducing a metal frame for added durability. Button placement includes volume keys on the left, a power key on the right, and a mystery button that might be the Essential Key seen on previous Nothing models like the Phone (3a) Pro.
Under the hood, the Phone (3) is no slouch. It’s confirmed to pack a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, and Nothing has committed to five years of OS updates and seven years of security patches a rarity in the Android world. Rumors point to a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display, a 50MP front camera, and a 5,150mAh battery. While early leaks suggested 100W fast charging, a recent certification hints it might max out at 65W.

With its bold design choices and impressive spec sheet, the Nothing Phone (3) is shaping up to be one of the year’s most intriguing Android releases. Love it or hate it, it’s clear Nothing isn’t afraid to break the mold.
