Jaguar’s bold electric future is making a pit stop in Mumbai this June. The Type 00 Concept, first unveiled in Miami, will hit the Jio Convention Centre on June 14 as part of its global tour. Having wowed audiences in Paris, Monaco, and Tokyo, this radical EV is a manifesto on wheels signaling a total reset for Jaguar’s design language and zero-emission ambitions.

Built on the new Jaguar Electric Architecture (JEA), the Type 00 promises a 770km WLTP range and 321km of fast charge in just 15 minutes. While officially a concept, camouflaged prototypes of its production-ready 4-door electric GT are already being tested, sporting spaceship-worthy wheels and an ultra-modern silhouette.

The production model is slated for a late 2025 global debut, arriving in India by 2026-27. Expected to be priced around ₹2 crore, this isn’t a mass-market play it’s Jaguar’s electric halo car, staking its claim on the future of high-performance luxury EVs.
