iPhone SE 4 Expected to Launch Under $500 with Custom 5G Modem

Apple’s upcoming iPhone SE 4 is expected to be priced under $500, making it one of the most affordable models in the lineup. Set to launch in the first quarter of 2025, the iPhone SE 4 will be the first device to feature Apple’s custom 5G modem, codenamed Centauri, marking a significant step in reducing the company’s reliance on Qualcomm.

This shift allows Apple to keep costs down, offering a competitive price point for a device featuring the A18 SoC, 8GB of RAM, and a 6.06-inch OLED screen. While the display won’t support ProMotion, the overall specs offer exceptional value compared to the iPhone 16 series, which starts at $799. With its inclusion of generative AI features, the iPhone SE 4 will also be Apple’s most affordable model to support these advanced capabilities, further solidifying its position in the budget-friendly market.
