The leak, originating from Weibo’s “Instant Digital,” suggests that this new cooling system will efficiently dissipate heat, reducing the likelihood of slowdowns. Additionally, rumors indicate Apple may remove the SIM card slot in China, though overall design changes from the iPhone 16 Pro series appear minimal, with similar notch and bezel sizes.
Vapor chamber cooling has been a topic of speculation for years, with analyst Ming-Chi Kuo first mentioning Apple’s testing in 2021. Recent reports from MyDrivers and Kuo in early 2024 suggested that both Pro models in 2025 could finally implement this technology, enhancing the iPhone’s ability to handle high-performance tasks.
