iPhone 17 Design May Stick to Familiar Looks While Air and Pro Get Overhauls

Fresh leaks suggest that while the iPhone 17 Air and iPhone 17 Pro are set for drastic design shifts, the standard iPhone 17 may retain the iPhone 16’s look.

According to recent renders, the iPhone 17 Air will feature a Pixel-inspired single-camera visor, while the iPhone 17 Pro takes cues from Poco X6’s camera island. However, the base iPhone 17 may not follow suit—instead, it’s expected to stick with Apple’s current design language.

While this may disappoint some, there’s still good news. A past rumor hints that the iPhone 17 could finally get a 120Hz ProMotion display, a long-awaited upgrade.

With Apple yet to confirm these leaks, it’s wise to take them with a grain of salt, but if true, Apple’s 2025 lineup will showcase three distinct designs across the series.
