Newly leaked renders of the iPhone 17 Air suggest Apple is embracing a Pixel-inspired camera bar, replacing the traditional “Plus” model in the 2025 lineup. The renders, shared by Jon Prosser from Front Page Tech, showcase an ultra-thin body—potentially as slim as 5.5mm—with a single-lens rear camera housed in a stretched oval module that gives the device a playful, “winking” look.

A Weibo post from Digital Chat Station corroborates this, mentioning a “horizontal strip runway design” for the iPhone 17 Air, while the Pro models will feature a larger horizontal camera matrix. The device is also expected to feature Dynamic Island, an Action button, and a Camera Control button.

With Apple reportedly finalizing the design, the iPhone 17 Air could mark a major shift in aesthetics and form factor, making it the slimmest iPhone yet.
