Google’s Gemini AI assistant now supports scheduled actions, adding new versatility for its Pro and Ultra subscribers. The feature, live in the Gemini app, lets users automate routine tasks or receive personalized updates at set times, directly through AI-driven prompts.

From asking Gemini to deliver a morning calendar and email summary to scheduling it to brainstorm five blog ideas every Monday, users can tailor recurring actions to suit their daily workflow. There’s also a new Scheduled Actions page in the app’s Settings for easy management and adjustments.

However, there’s a catch — scheduled actions are currently limited to those with a Google AI Pro or Ultra subscription, and select Google Workspace business and education plans. This move continues Google’s push to monetize advanced Gemini features while reserving core utilities for paying users. Still, it’s a useful upgrade for productivity enthusiasts eager to automate AI-powered routines and stay ahead of their schedules.
