Google Trolls iPhone 17 Air’s Pixel-Like Camera Design in New Ad

Google just took another playful swipe at Apple. In its latest #BestPhonesForever video, Google pokes fun at the rumored iPhone 17 Air design, which appears to borrow the Pixel’s signature camera bar look. The video, titled “Responding to the Rumors”, features the Pixel and iPhone joking about the leaks with the iPhone cheekily denying it while listing Pixel features Apple picked up years later.

The playful roast doesn’t stop at design. The video highlights Google’s Night Sight, which Apple followed with its own Night Mode, Magic Eraser vs. Apple’s Clean Up, and, of course, Android’s long-standing widgets that iOS only recently adopted. It’s a tongue-in-cheek jab at Apple’s tendency to embrace Android features after years of exclusivity.

Leaked renders of the iPhone 17 Air suggest it could be Apple’s thinnest phone yet, and the familiar camera layout has sparked plenty of buzz. Given the internet’s love for these lighthearted ads, expect more pixel-vs-iPhone banter soon.
