Google has officially launched the NotebookLM app for Android and iOS devices, expanding its AI-powered note-taking tool beyond desktops. Available now via the Play Store and App Store, the app brings core features like smart document summaries, AI-driven Q&A, and audio overviews that work even offline.

The app supports Android 10+ and iOS 17+ devices, allowing users to organize notebooks, add PDFs, websites, or YouTube videos, and ask AI questions about uploaded materials. A standout feature is the podcast-style audio summaries, turning notes into listenable AI-generated discussions. Google also confirmed a light/dark mode sync with device settings and hinted at future updates during I/O 2025.

NotebookLM also integrates seamlessly with your device’s share sheet, making it easy to add new sources from other apps. While Android users can download the app today, the iOS version rollout appears slightly staggered. Google is also testing a beta feature for users to interact directly with AI hosts in conversations.
