Galaxy S25 FE Could Get MediaTek Dimensity 9400 Chipset Boost

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 FE might get a welcome performance boost thanks to a potential chipset switch. While early rumors suggested the phone would stick with the Exynos 2400e, just like its predecessor, a new leak hints at the possibility of MediaTek’s powerful Dimensity 9400 stepping in.

According to fresh reports, Samsung’s first choice is still its in-house Exynos 2400e, mainly due to cost-saving reasons. But if Samsung’s foundry struggles to meet production demands, the Dimensity 9400 could take its place a move likely to delight performance-focused fans. The Dimensity 9400 is expected to outperform the Exynos chip, offering improved efficiency and raw power.

Aside from the potential chipset shuffle, though, the Galaxy S25 FE might not bring much else new to the table. Early leaks suggest few upgrades over the S24 FE, which could make a better processor one of its only headline features. With the launch still months away, more details are bound to emerge and we’ll be watching closely.
