Samsung’s Galaxy Ring 2 may be much farther away than anticipated. A new report from Galaxy Club claims that development on the next-gen smart ring has only just begun, dimming hopes for a 2025 release. If true, it could be several months before the product is even market-ready.

Initial expectations had the Galaxy Ring 2 debuting alongside the Galaxy S25 series in January 2025, but that teaser never materialized. Rumors hinted at a sleeker design, improved battery life based on ring size, and enhanced AI-driven health tracking features. However, Samsung has remained silent, offering no official updates.

A previous leak in late 2024 suggested the smart ring might launch sooner than expected, but with this new report, it appears the wait may stretch into early 2026. If development timelines follow suit, Samsung could pair the launch with its Galaxy S26 series. As always, though, treat these early reports cautiously until official word arrives.
