Ferrari has unveiled the most extensive upgrade package of any team at the 2025 Bahrain Grand Prix, bringing a revised floor, new diffuser, and modified rear wing in hopes of catching up to pacesetters McLaren. Charles Leclerc, who finished fourth in Japan, said the car had reached its limit without updates, making this weekend’s package pivotal for Ferrari’s season.

Meanwhile, Red Bull and McLaren have each brought a single aerodynamic improvement. Red Bull has fitted a longer front wing chord flap to improve aerobalance and driver confidence through corners. McLaren, on the other hand, has tweaked the front brake duct winglet for improved flow conditioning and overall aero performance small but potentially critical tweaks.

Mercedes stands apart by choosing not to bring performance-related upgrades to Bahrain, making this weekend a key test of whether Ferrari’s aggressive approach can pay off. Lewis Hamilton said he’s hopeful it’s a step in the right direction, while Ferrari remains focused on closing the gap to McLaren.
