The latest paddock controversy in F1 2025 has McLaren at the center, with Red Bull allegedly suspecting an illegal tyre-cooling trick but Martin Brundle isn’t buying it. McLaren’s remarkable tyre management, winning five of the first six races, has reportedly drawn Red Bull’s attention, with German media claiming they used thermal cameras to monitor McLaren’s tyre temps during the Miami GP.

Brundle, meanwhile, flatly dismissed the water-cooling theory, explaining on ‘The F1 Show’ podcast that it ‘makes no sense’ technically.
