ElevenLabs, one of the most widely used AI voice generation tools, has officially launched a mobile app for Android and iOS. The app offers the same natural-sounding AI voices as the web version, but with a native, faster, and more intuitive interface designed for mobile content creators and professionals.
Free users get up to 10 minutes of AI voice generation, along with access to ElevenLabs’ new v3 alpha model. This latest engine supports emotion tagging, letting you adjust tone and delivery style in real-time from calm narrations to dramatic voiceovers. It’s a simple process: paste your text, pick a voice, tweak the emotion with tags, and hit Generate.
The app launch was confirmed in a YouTube video announcement and an email to TechCrunch, where ElevenLabs’ mobile growth lead Jack McDermott explained the move. “Over the past year, we’ve seen an explosion of creativity from our community,” said McDermott. “Many of them have accessed ElevenLabs from mobile browsers and asked for a more powerful, native experience.”
I gave the app a quick spin myself, and it’s easily one of the better mobile AI voice generators available today. Compared to options like Speechify, ElevenLabs feels snappier, cleaner, and offers more realistic vocal tones.
