Assassin’s Creed Shadows, previously known as Assassin’s Creed Red, is set to launch on February 14, 2025, after a delay from November 2024. The game, set in feudal Japan, will feature two protagonists: Naoe, a stealthy shinobi, and Yasuke, a samurai. Players can switch between the two, with Naoe specializing in stealth and Yasuke focusing on combat with katanas.
The game will also feature a spy network, romance options, and non-linear gameplay. It will be available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Preorders are available for several editions, ranging from the Standard Edition ($70) to the Collector’s Edition ($280), which includes exclusive collectibles. With its blend of stealth and combat in a rich historical setting, Assassin’s Creed Shadows is one of the most anticipated titles of 2025.
