Apple is reportedly developing a revamped Health app, codenamed ‘Mulberry,’ featuring an AI health agent trained on medical data sourced from professionals. Set to launch with iOS 19.4 next spring, this AI-driven health coach aims to provide personalized wellness insights based on user data, especially when paired with an Apple Watch.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple is recruiting medical experts—including sleep specialists, nutritionists, physical therapists, cardiologists, and mental health professionals—to create verified video content for the app. Additionally, Apple seeks a major doctor personality to serve as the face of its new Health+ service.

The app is expected to offer food tracking as a key feature. However, Apple’s AI ambitions have faced setbacks, delaying its next-gen Siri update to 2026. Given the high-risk nature of health-related AI, ensuring accuracy will be crucial to avoid potential legal and reputational damage. More details are expected in the coming weeks.
