Apple Set to Launch Entry-Level iPad in Spring 2025, But Apple Intelligence Likely Absent

Apple is expected to release a new entry-level iPad in Spring 2025, following the recent launch of the iPad mini 7. While rumors had suggested that both devices might be announced together, the company chose to debut the iPad mini 7 first. The upcoming iPad will likely run iPadOS 18.3, with a launch expected around late January or early February 2025, aligning with other Apple product releases like the M3 iPad Air and iPhone SE 4.

However, Apple Intelligence features, which require an A17 Pro chip and 8GB of RAM, might be absent from this entry-level model to avoid redundancy with the iPad mini 7. While some sources claim the new iPad may support Apple Intelligence, it’s believed the device will focus on basic features without the advanced AI capabilities seen in higher-end models.
