Apple Rolls Out iOS 18.4 Release Candidate to Developers

Apple has released the iOS 18.4 Release Candidate (RC) for developers, signaling the final step before its public rollout in early April. The update, build 22E239, introduces Priority Notifications, allowing AI to determine and highlight important alerts on the lock screen. Apple Intelligence will also expand to new languages and regions, including French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese.

The update brings Ambient Music Controls, offering preset modes like Sleep, Chill, Productivity, and Wellbeing, each tied to user-selected playlists. Additionally, the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max will receive Visual Intelligence. New software additions include a Food section in News+ for curated recipes and a Vision Pro app for XR content discovery.

Developers can now access RC versions for iPadOS 18.4, macOS 15.4, tvOS 18.4, and visionOS 2.4, ensuring seamless integration across Apple’s ecosystem.
