Apple Already Working on visionOS 3.0 and 2.4 for Vision Pro, Next Updates Coming in 2025

Apple is actively working on the next major updates for its Vision Pro headset, with references to visionOS 3.0 and visionOS 2.4 already discovered in official documentation. This comes after the release of visionOS 2.3 developer beta earlier this week. visionOS 2.4 is expected to debut in 2025, while visionOS 3.0 will likely follow shortly after.

While details are scarce, these updates are expected to include various bug fixes and performance improvements. Notably, the Apple Vision Pro currently lacks Apple Intelligence features, despite using the same M2 chip found in other Apple devices. It remains unclear if the upcoming updates will integrate these AI-powered tools, which are currently available on iPad, Mac, and iPhone devices. Apple’s development of these versions signals continued progress in expanding the capabilities of its Vision Pro headset.
