At WWDC 25, Apple introduced powerful upgrades for its AirPods lineup, including the AirPods 4, AirPods 4 with ANC, and AirPods Pro 2. A headline feature is studio-quality audio recording, tailored for content creators. Backed by Voice Isolation, users can record crisp, clear audio in noisy environments—ideal for podcasters, journalists, and mobile filmmakers.

The upgrade enhances call clarity across iPhone calls, FaceTime, and supported apps like Webex and Zoom. When paired with an iPhone, iPad, or Mac, users can also utilize improved voice input in Voice Memos, Messages, and even third-party camera apps.

Another standout feature is the new camera remote control via AirPods. Users can now press and hold the AirPods stem to snap a photo or start/stop a video recording in the Camera app, making hands-free content capture more convenient than ever.

These features will roll out via the Apple Beta Software Program next month and officially debut in iOS 26, iPadOS 26, and macOS Tahoe 26 later this year.
