Adobe has officially unveiled its latest Firefly image generation AI models alongside a redesigned Firefly web app, aiming to boost creativity and precision for digital creators. The newly released Firefly Image Model 4 improves image quality, generation speed, and control over image attributes like style, zoom, and camera angles. A more advanced version, Image Model 4 Ultra, takes it further by rendering complex scenes with greater detail and accuracy.
In addition to image models, Adobe rolled out its Firefly Video Model for public access, offering users the ability to generate 1080p video clips from text prompts or images, complete with controllable motion elements and atmospheric effects. The Firefly Vector Model was also introduced, capable of producing editable, scalable vector artwork, logos, icons, and patterns for professional use.
Adobe’s upgraded Firefly web app now hosts not only its own models but also third-party ones like OpenAI’s, Google’s Imagen 3, and Flux 1.1 Pro. Adobe hinted at future model integrations and announced APIs for text-to-video and avatar generation.
