Who stole PixelPup’s Bone?
Hi there! I’m PixelPup, and I love learning new things — especially cool tech stuff like coding in Python. I’m also a detective. And today… I have a mystery to solve.
My Bone is missing!!
When I woke up this morning, my favorite squeaky bone was missing! 😱
No note, no pawprints… just one very empty toy basket.
But I have a plan 💡
I’m going to use Python — my best friend and he is a coding language that lets me talk to the computer — to help me find it. 🐍💻
🐾 Lets start coding
So we are going to use the most basic of superpowers to identify who stole the bone – and this is the first part of our quest – so stay tuned. Here you are going to use the command – ‘print’
This is a super power that lets us tell the computer to say something on the screen. It’s how we leave messages, clues, or even tell jokes!
In python we can make the computer display messages using the command:
print(" I love Icreams ")So you can put anything inside the “” to make the computer print that. It can be your love for ice creams or pixelpup’s missing bone.
⚠️ Do not forget the ” quote entries and the brackets, else computer will be confused.
♣ Your computer will display the messages you type
💎 You can type anything to be printed on screen!
We are using our print super power here, so lets go pups! So lets try that out here in the python playground below – so type your command and click on the ▶️ button when you are ready to run the command and you will see it showing up on the right side!
