Xiaomi is stepping into serious premium tablet territory with the upcoming 7 Pad Ultra. Launching on May 22, it’ll be the first Xiaomi device to feature the in-house XRING 01 chipset, which reportedly matches Snapdragon 8 Elite’s performance in early benchmarks.

The 7 Pad Ultra packs a massive 14-inch OLED display with ultra-thin 3.95mm bezels and a sleek 5.1mm thickness going head-to-head with Apple’s 13-inch M4 iPad Pro. It supports keyboard and pen accessories, setting it up as a legit laptop alternative. While refresh rate details are under wraps, this display is already shaping up to be a head-turner.

Inside, it houses a 12,000mAh battery paired with 120W fast charging, promising impressive endurance with minimal downtime. The tablet weighs 609 grams and runs on TSMC’s advanced 3nm process-based chip, potentially making it one of the most efficient Android tablets yet. Full specs, pricing, and availability are expected at the May 22 launch event.
