Samsung’s The Premiere 5 Projector Turns Any Surface Into a 100” Touchscreen

Samsung has officially launched The Premiere 5, an ultra-short throw projector capable of creating a massive 100-inch display from just 43 centimeters away. Priced at KRW 1.99 million (roughly $1,380) in South Korea, the projector was originally showcased at CES 2025 and is now available for purchase. It’s designed to project onto walls, floors, or tables transforming any surface into a giant interactive display.

What sets The Premiere 5 apart is its touch functionality, powered by an infrared laser module and camera. Users can turn a table into a touchscreen, making it ideal for presentations, interactive apps, or even using Samsung DeX on a 100-inch workspace. The projector also boasts Vision Booster technology for dynamic contrast and color adjustments based on ambient lighting.
