Samsung is reportedly revamping the S Pen for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7, making it slightly thicker. While details remain unclear, the redesign could be aimed at improving ergonomics or integrating new features that require additional hardware space. This update comes amid concerns over the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s S Pen losing certain functionalities.

Unlike the Galaxy S Ultra series, the Z Fold lineup doesn’t have an in-device holster for the S Pen, meaning Samsung has more design flexibility. The stylus is sold separately with a dedicated case, allowing for a bulkier build without impacting the phone’s form factor.

While it’s unknown whether the new S Pen will introduce major upgrades, users hope Samsung retains key functionalities like Bluetooth support and Air Actions. More details should emerge as the Galaxy Z Fold7 launch approaches.
