Apple’s new iPhone 16e, a new entry-level model that trims flagship features while maintaining modern hardware. Unlike the SE line, which followed a three-year upgrade cycle, the 16e suggests Apple may move to annual updates. Priced at $599, it sits between budget and flagship models, ensuring Apple no longer competes in the sub-$400 range.
Customers can pre-order the iPhone 16e starting February 21, with shipping set for February 28. Available in black and white, it comes with a 48MP camera, USB-C, and Apple’s A18 chip—signaling a shift in Apple’s device strategy.
