Ferrari’s First Electric Supercar Set for October Debut, Spotted Testing

Ferrari’s highly anticipated first electric vehicle (EV) is set to debut this October, as confirmed by CEO Benedetto Vigna. While details remain scarce, Vigna assured that the EV will uphold Ferrari’s signature performance and driving experience.

Spy shots suggest a radical departure from Ferrari’s traditional design, hinting at a crossover-Grand Tourer (GT) form factor. Test vehicles with fake exhaust pipes and synthetic engine noises have been spotted near Ferrari’s headquarters in Maranello.

Alongside the EV, Ferrari plans to launch five other models in 2025, including the 12Cilindri Spider and a Roma successor. Despite EV market fluctuations, Ferrari remains committed to its diversified powertrain strategy, balancing petrol, hybrid, and electric models. With strong 2024 earnings of €2.38 billion, the company expects growth in 2025, driven by new launches.
