Ola Electric to Launch Next-Gen Gen 3 E-Scooters on January 31

Ola Electric is set to unveil its next-generation e-scooters built on the Gen 3 platform tomorrow, January 31, at 10:30 AM IST. CEO Bhavish Aggarwal announced the launch via X, highlighting improvements in design, performance, and efficiency over previous models.

Initially scheduled for August 2025, the launch has been expedited, with the new models expected to hit the market this week. The Gen 3 platform features a revamped mid-mounted motor for better reliability and cost efficiency, a redesigned battery with reduced plastic layers, and a consolidated electronics platform for improved performance.

The lineup includes the Ola S1 X (2kWh battery) priced at Rs. 79,999, while the Ola S1 Pro (3kWh and 4kWh variants) costs Rs. 1.29 lakh and Rs. 1.59 lakh, respectively. More details will be revealed during the official launch.
