The Chevrolet Spark EV is back—sort of. The all-new Spark EUV recently debuted in Brazil as a four-door electric crossover with a rear-mounted motor and an LFP battery, boasting an estimated range of 401 km. It comes equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and advanced driver-assistance features.

However, there’s a catch: the Spark EUV isn’t actually a Chevrolet. It’s a rebadged version of the Baojun Yep Plus, a Chinese electric car from the SAIC-GM-Wuling joint venture. This move suggests Chevrolet is looking to cut costs while tapping into Brazil’s growing EV market.

It’s uncertain if the Spark EUV will be sold in the U.S. or Europe, but its launch reflects a growing trend of automakers turning to Chinese EVs for affordability. The Spark EUV is set to go on sale in Brazil later this year, with pricing yet to be announced.
