BYD Yangwang U9 Supercar Showcases Flying Stunts at CES 2025

BYD’s Yangwang U9, an all-electric supercar, stunned audiences at CES 2025 with its jaw-dropping ability to leap over obstacles. Powered by the DiSus-X Intelligent Body Control System and e4 platform, the car demonstrated its advanced hydraulic suspension by jumping over a 2.5-meter-long pothole and a bed of 3.5 cm-high road spikes, achieving a leap of up to 6 meters.

With 1,300 hp, 1,680 Nm torque, and four independent electric motors, the U9 reaches 309 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.36 seconds. The car’s autonomous capabilities allow it to detect and overcome obstacles without human intervention.
