Apple’s Face ID Smart Doorbell to Set New Standards in Home Security

Apple is set to transform the home security landscape in 2025 with the launch of a smart doorbell camera featuring Face ID technology. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the device will automatically unlock doors by recognizing the homeowner or other authorized individuals, similar to the Face ID on iPhones.

The smart doorbell will integrate with Apple’s Secure Enclave chip, ensuring that biometric data is kept secure. Currently in the early stages of development, the device is expected to debut in late 2025. If successful, this innovative smart doorbell could significantly improve both convenience and security within Apple’s ecosystem, making it a highly anticipated addition to the smart home market.
